| An
attractive detached stone and slate barn now converted into a
comfortable cottage. Approached from the parking area over a slate
paved patio and through a small porch, the inner stable door opens
into a hallway and from there into a spacious beamed kitchen
/ dining room. An open archway leads through to a comfortable
sitting room with sliding patio doors to a sheltered little
garden, with patio and three steps lead up to a raised lawn and to
an outhouse with storage space for bikes and beach gear and
undercover drying lines. From one side of the kitchen a long
hallway leads to two ground floor bedrooms, a twin and a bunk
bedded room each with a hand basin. A bathroom W.C. with hand
basin has a separate shower cubicle. Stairs lead up from the hall
to a small landing and the third bedroom. A spacious double with
the ceiling open to the beams in the apex of the roof. Toddlers
will require supervision in the garden because of the short drop

THE OLD STABLE and SPRINGFIELD BARN - Two detached cottages within a few minutes drive, or a mile by footpath, of the lovely sandy beaches of Constantine and Treyarnon. They are set in a lane in the farming hamlet of Trevear and both are approached from a tarmac parking area that fronts them. One dog is accepted in each. Visitors have the use of a field next to the parking area and the nearest shops and pubs are at St Merryn a mile away. Padstow and a further selection of lovely beaches are all within a few minutes drive. |
